The first time, Miss Fan started to learn Chinese painting when she was 6 years old.
After that, Chinese painting became a part of her life. Chinese painting has a lot of
mountains, rivers and people. But she prefers bamboo. She loves the spirit of bamboos,
such as simplicity and elegance.
When she was studying in university in Shanghai, she chose jewellery design as her
major. In this period, she learned a lot of knowledge from natural materials, such as
Jade, Agate, Sandalwood. She felt very comfortable and calm when she used these
materials to make jewellery by hand, the feeling was the same about draw bamboo in
Chinese painting.
After graduated, she immigrated to the UK, she started to miss China, Chinese painting
and handmade jewellery. She thought she could combine Chinese style in jewellery
design.
In 2013, she built her own Chinese style jewellery brand in Southampton. This brand
focuses on keeping away from the roar of machines and searching peaceful in the heart.
It uses natural materials in elegant handmade Chinese style jewellery and focuses on
delivering the beauty of Chinese style jewellery.
